STYLE SAMAMPELA, which, translated from Zulu, means 'real style', is a brand new makeover show hosted by Tsholo Monedi, featuring style guru, Penny Lebyane and a line-up of everyday women and celebrities. The show is all about showing how real women can, on a low budget, be really stylish. Style Samampela will be screened on SABC 1 at 18H28 every Friday evening for eight weeks from Friday, 30 September until Friday, 18 November 2011.

 

 

Supported by PEP, Style Samampela is a two minute show where women of varying ages are given a makeover for a special occasion - anything from a wedding or a 21st birthday party to an interview, a graduation and so on.

Penny Lebyane is the stylist who will conduct the makeovers and weave her magic using everything from PEP - including ladies' summer fashions, accessories and footwear. Viewers will be entertained with great style tips by Penny who will prove that women don't need to spend a fortune in order to look good. An extra treat is the weekly guest celebrity featured in each episode: Andile Gaelesiwe, Zizo Beda, Kwela Tebza, Lebo Motsoeli, Tumi Masemola, TT Mbha, Motlatsi Mafatshe, Nthabiseng Mphahlele.
