Assess and reduce operational stock loss risks for Pepkor Africa.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop/design and implement stock loss management procedures
Attending of stock takes and field audits
Training and development of Stock Controllers
Assist with POS development projects to improve functionality
Country central office audits (Stock admin)
Assist with updating of store admin policies and procedures (manuals)
Keeping abreast of new developments in stock management elsewhere in the Pepkor group
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12 (with Accounting)
Diploma/Degree in Finance/ Auditing will be an advantage
3-5 years experience in retail stock controlling
Exposure to POS system and store procedures in a retail environment
MS Office (with advanced Excel)
Willingness to travel extensively in Africa

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and manage the purchasing strategy to enhance quality delivery and cost targets
