> Admin Manager
    Department : Pepkor Africa
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    Assess and reduce operational stock loss risks for Pepkor Africa.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Develop/design and implement stock loss management procedures
     Attending of stock takes and field audits
     Training and development of Stock Controllers
     Assist with POS development projects to improve functionality
     Country central office audits (Stock admin)
     Assist with updating of store admin policies and procedures (manuals)
     Keeping abreast of new developments in stock management elsewhere in the Pepkor group

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
     Grade 12 (with Accounting)
     Diploma/Degree in Finance/ Auditing will be an advantage
     3-5 years experience in retail stock controlling
     Exposure to POS system and store procedures in a retail environment
     MS Office (with advanced Excel)
     Willingness to travel extensively in Africa

> Central Buying Manager

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    To contribute to the development of the procurement process in line with World Class Best Practices

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

     Design and manage the purchasing strategy to enhance quality delivery and cost targets
     Effectively communicate with and assist the supply chain
     Resolution and corrective action with regards to technical product make-up and yarn and material engineering
     Assessment of Supplier development needs and implementation of effective solutions
     Evaluate supplier performance
     Identify cost reduction alternatives and suggest improvements
     Negotiation and administration of procurement contracts
     Driving efficiency of  budgeting, targeting and reporting
     Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.
     Analyze market and delivery systems in order to assess present and future product availability.
     Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing products effectively

> FIXED ASSET BUYER
    Department : Sales

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    To co-ordinate and purchase all fixed assets for the stores.


     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Coordinate appointments of contractors and suppliers with regards to air-conditioning units, flooring, signage, generators and electrical
     Ordering of above mentioned units as per S.O.P
     Ensure correct maintenance by providing maintenance procedures to Regional Managers
     Provide input into the Sales Support budget
     Manage F&F field requisition orders to delivery lead time
     Store visits to check installations
     Ad hoc tasks

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
     Grade 12 with Mathematics
     Technical working knowledge of air-conditioning and electrical
     Construction/Property knowledge will be advantageous
     Computer Literate (MS Office and MS Access)

> FMCG Planner
    Department : Planning
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB : The purpose of the planner is to manage the allocation process and plan and control stock to achieve maximum sales and profit targets.

     KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    - In-season performance management of stock

    - Analysis of performance data and develop pre-season business plans

    - Product Management (Monitor, analyse and make recommendations of product life cycles)

    - Coaching and supervising

    - Sales and Stock planning and allocation management

    - Store support and visits

    - Adhoc projects

     JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

    - Grade 12 (with Mathematics)

    - Commercial or Statistical degree or diploma

    - Computer Literacy (MS Office) as well as experience in planning tools, i.e. Arthur

    - Min 5 years planning experience within an FMCG environment

> FOOTWEAR BUYER
    Department : MERCHANDISE
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To source and compile a range of commodities and ensure that the commodities are acceptable to the Pep consumer market. The commodities selected must contribute to the profit margin and price points of Pep, in accordance to the departmental directive.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Supplier management (sourcing and loading)
     Range building (Product sourcing & range development)

     Research about target market and competitiveness

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

     Minimum of 3 years experience as a fully fledged footwear buyer will be an advantage

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB
    Allocating available stock to stores according to plan, to optimize service and stock levels. Maintain stock records, master tables and store and product attributes.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Allocation of stock based on store needs and stock analyses
     Handling of store orders and queries
     Management of distribution centre stock
     Updating of activity records in budget book
     Creating new styles
     Allocation of stock to new stores
     Handling of customer stock queries

> Property Manager
    Department : Based in Centurion
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
    To research the property market and existing Pepkor footprint, identify potential properties, negotiate and close business deals for the rental or purchase of new premises as to expand, consolidate or reposition the Pepkor business in Africa. 

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Identify and evaluate new opportunities
    • Identify and evaluate opportunities to consolidate and/or reposition existing business
    • Negotiate leases for new stores/premises and Distribution Centres
    • Renewal of existing leases
    • Liaise with landlords
    • Presentations to board for approval
    • Administration and record keeping of all property related processes

    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
    • Grade 12
    • Tertiary qualification (preferably in Construction Management)
    • Minimum 3 years experience in Property Management
    • Exposure to the retail industry would be advantageous
    • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
    • Computer Literate (MS Office)
    • Willingness to travel extensively in African countries
    • Possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring that the potential for the Pepkor business is captured and explored

> STORE DESIGN PLANNER
    Department : PEPKOR AFRICA
    Location :

    PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:

    Drawing plans for layout purposes and ensuring that plans are implemented in stores so that optimum use of space is maintained.

     KEY OUTPUTS:

    ·  Drawing of store plans

    ·  Placing and execution of relevant orders to suppliers

    ·  Scheduling and monitoring of installations

    ·  Communication with field management and suppliers

     JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS:
    ·  Grade 12

    ·  National Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or Draughting

    ·  Computer Literate (Auto Cad essential)

> SYSTEMS ANALYST
    Department : SUPPLY CHAIN

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    To ensure that the systems and business processes incorporate industry standards and best practices; and to provide business process and technology support to users.

    PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To plan, implement, facilitate and evaluate learning events and programmes, based on proper needs analysis, within the PEP Sales (field) environment.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
     Determining sales (field) training and development needs
     Facilitation of learning interventions
     Development and revision of learning programmes
     Evaluation of the impact of learning interventions
     Building effective relationships with internal clients
     Learning event administration


    JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
     Training and Deveopment experience
     Relevant tertiary qualification will be an advantage
     Computer literate (MS Office)
     Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
     Language proficiency (English – Fluent ; Afrikaans – Basic)
